At Mountain Bike Colombia, we’re thrilled to share MTB adventures in Colombia with our guests. To ensure a seamless booking experience and a memorable journey, please review our general wilderness MTB adventure booking policy, outlined below:

1. Booking Process:

• To reserve your spot on one of our wilderness MTB adventures, please visit our website or contact our booking team directly.
• Upon booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing important trip details, including itinerary, packing list, and payment information.

1. Payment Terms:

• A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due according to the specified deadline, typically 30 days before the start of the adventure or if otherwise stated upon check-in for your adventure.
• We accept payment via major credit cards, bank transfers, or other agreed-upon methods. Please refer to your booking confirmation for specific payment instructions.

1. Cancellation Policy:

• In the event of cancellation, please notify us as soon as possible to discuss available options.
• Cancellations made more than 61 days before the adventure start date may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to cancellation fees and administrative costs.
• Cancellations made within 60 days of the adventure start date may result in forfeiture of the deposit or full payment, depending on the circumstances.
• We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we’ll work with you to find the best possible solution.

1. Trip Changes and Modifications:

• Mountain Bike Colombia reserves the right to modify trip itineraries, routes, or accommodations due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. Some adventures such as our Amazon adventures depend heavily on weather conditions, the presence of wildlife, water levels, and even the availability of the indigenous communities we visit. These adventures do experience minor adjustments from time to time, making each one a uniquely new experience. The quality of our Amazon adventures are never compromised by these adjustments.
• Since all our wilderness adventures depend on mother nature, participants understand and except the reality she’s not on our payroll and therefore we have no control over her or the presence of her many pet monkeys and other animals.
• We’ll make every effort to notify participants of any changes in advance and provide suitable alternatives whenever possible.

1. Participant Requirements:

• Participants must meet the minimum age and skill level requirements specified for each adventure.
• It’s essential to maintain a reasonable level of fitness and be prepared for the physical challenges of wilderness mountain biking. In the Amazon one must also be comfortable with accepting a little discomfort from time to time.
• Prior mountain biking experience and familiarity with off-road terrain are recommended but not always mandatory, depending on the specific adventure.

1. Safety and Liability:

• Your safety is our top priority. While participating in our wilderness MTB adventures, all participants are required to adhere to safety guidelines and instructions provided by our experienced guides.
• Mountain biking inherently involves risks, and by booking with us, participants acknowledge and accept these risks. We strongly encourage participants to obtain adequate travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and other unforeseen events.

1. Code of Conduct:

• We promote responsible and sustainable travel practices. Please respect local communities, wildlife, and natural environments encountered during our adventures.
• Participants are expected to follow ethical and environmentally conscious behavior throughout the trip, minimizing their impact on fragile ecosystems and cultural sites.
